Female Headed-Households: Intersectional Analyses of Gender and Health in Low- and Middle-Income Countries

The workshop Female Headed-Households: Intersectional Analyses of Gender and Health in Low- and Middle-Income Countries, promoted by Countdown to 2030, was held at the African Population and Health Research Center in Dakar, Senegal from November 6th to 8th, 2019. Representing the ICEH team at the event were Cesar Victora, Aluísio Barros, Andrea Wendt, Franciele Hellwig and Leonardo Ferreira.

Participants from 15 countries in Sub-Saharan Africa worked on statistical and epidemiological data analyses of national surveys, with particular emphasis on gender equity analyses centered around female-headed households in Africa.
