In an initiative to integrate gender and sex equity in research, the World Health Organization (WHO) is hosting a webinar on Monday (march 4th 2024) from 14:00 – 15:00 CET to announce the adoption of the SAGER guidelines (Sex and Gender Equity in Research).

These guidelines will steer future studies to encompass sex and gender identity variables, crucial for the accuracy and relevance of research outcomes.

One of the highlights of the event will be a panel of experts, moderated by the editor-in-chief of The Lancet, Richard Horton, and featuring the epidemiologist Aluisio Barros from the International Center for Equity in Health - ICEH.
